An absolute must-have for web designers everywhere
This is by far the best book I have found to date on HTML design. The illustrations and interviews provide a lot of ideas and inspiration and the code and explanations are clear and easily customizable. An absolute must-have. This blows others out of the water!.

A book for the web design genius.
HTML Artistry is one of the greatest titles in the web design category. I have used this book in planning the layout of my website, getting ideas for client's sites, and for simple research on what the current standards are. If you do ANY web design, and want to do it well, put this book on your bookshelf. Or rather, open on your desk.

More Than Code
Aside from the mind-blowing code Ardith and Natalie wrote in the book, they included interviews from truly awesome creative people, who were an inspiration to them. I thought that was really great... Knowing how these extraordinary visionaries think, how & why they got there, and where they get their ideas from. I loved it. This book is absolutely MORE than code.

The Best Web Designing Book I Ever See!
I had a time when I sat at a bookstore trying to get the best web design book but I couldnn't found one. A few days later, I went to another bookstore and I saw this book. When I saw its cover, I already know that it is wrote by somebody who is very experience designers. Then I tried to find out who are the authors and I found there is 'a famous Akimbo Design's desinger'. I know much about Akimbo. I know that they are great, so I bought this book. At home, I read over this book and I found it rich in html knowledge no matter in html 4.0 or javascript. Then I started to use this book as my reference in web design until now (I brought this book about 6 months ago). Thank you.

This could be the best html design book out there.
I can't praise the authors enough. Never have I seen such a comprehensive list of code for really giving your site the extra boost it may need. I love this book and look to it for new ideas on a daily basis. If your pages look tired and bored, take at look at this book, your sure to walk away with something that you can use.

From the absolute basics......
HTML Artistry is a very good book to start learning the basics of web design. It covers the major issues; table, frames, javascript, good navigation and cross browser problems fairly comprehensively.
And it is important to mention that as of writing this on 26 August 1998, the websites offered as examples are all live and are the versions featured in the book.
You could do worse than buy this book.....
